Business Tips For Great Success
Exemplary Service Or No Business - Your Choice
The prime reason customers come to you is because they want what you offer, but with so much competition (including online) around these days, it's important you don't ''waste'' your customers with shoddy service.
The key of course is to be interested in them and how you can help them in a polite, friendly, professional way.
As famous American businesswoman Mary Kay Ash of Mary Kay Cosmetics once said ''Everyone has an invisible sign hanging from their neck saying 'Make me feel important' -never forget that message when dealing with people.''
Another great businessman was Sam Walton, the founder of Walmart who said ''There is only one boss. The customer. And he can fire everybody in the company from the chaiman on down, simply by spending his money elsewhere.''
And my favourite quote from Dale Carnegie who wrote the bestseller ''How To Win Friends and Influence People'' said ''You can close more sales and business in two months by becoming interested in other people than you can in two years by trying to get people interested in you.''
So there is some food for thought there, so it is vital from the above quotes that it is also important to regularly train your staff in professional, friendly customer service and reward them when your business has good figures at the end of the week.
